600gplain flour(I think that’s all-purpose if you’re in the USA)
500mllukewarm milk(it mustn’t be hot because you will kill the yeast and the dough won’t rise then)
oil for frying(vegetable, sunflower)
Chuck all the igredients into a bowl and bring them all together. Work the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic – this will take about 5 minutes.
Place the dough back into the bowl, cover with a tea towel and put in a warm place (a warm room will do) for about 30 minutes or until it has doubled in size.
Once the dough has risen, divide it into 6 equal parts and roll them out into circles (doesn’t have to be perfect).
Pour about an inch of oil into a frying pan and put it on high heat. Fry your langoshes, one by one, for about 10 seconds on each side or until they’re golden like in the picture. Use a pair of tongues for turning them over.
Top with your favourite topping. Delicious 😉
