Easy Langosh (langoš)
  • 600g plain flour(I think that’s all-purpose if you’re in the USA)
  • 500ml lukewarm milk(it mustn’t be hot because you will kill the yeast and the dough won’t rise then)
  • 1tbs caster sugar
  • 7g dried yeast
  • 1ts salt
  • oil for frying(vegetable, sunflower)
  1. Chuck all the igredients into a bowl and bring them all together. Work the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic – this will take about 5 minutes.
  2. Place the dough back into the bowl, cover with a tea towel and put in a warm place (a warm room will do) for about 30 minutes or until it has doubled in size.
  3. Once the dough has risen, divide it into 6 equal parts and roll them out into circles (doesn’t have to be perfect).
  4. Pour about an inch of oil into a frying pan and put it on high heat. Fry your langoshes, one by one, for about 10 seconds on each side or until they’re golden like in the picture. Use a pair of tongues for turning them over.
  5. Top with your favourite topping. Delicious 😉
